I was born in Canada actually. My parents are U.S citizens, as am I, but Betsy and I were born while my parents were living in Montreal on business. I've given some thought to going back as a vacation but school's always interfering. At the very least, it would be a nice switch from the California heat. I myself haven't heard those canoe and beaver rumors but I've heard about the snow and at least a few Mounty jokes. Well, enjoy your...incareration and catch you later.

Living in Canada seems to make people believe we live in little igloos and canoe to work / school with pet beavers in tow or something. It's actually kind of funny that some people think that xD Oh yeah, and something about ice fishing.

[Hmm... how would the canoes work if everything was "frozen solid"?]

It's starting to warm up again, so those big chunks of ice are going to start melting! Hurray! Honestly, the only things I like about winter are:
- The excuse to drink lots of hot chocolate
- The excuse to stay inside and randomly go on deviantART
- The lack of mosquitoes (because they are all DEAD muahahaha!)
- Looking at the nice scenery after it snows
- The big puffy sweaters and jackets so that you can get really tubby from drinking lots of the aforementioned hot chocolate, and having nobody really notice

Okay, I promise to stay warm! And drink lots of water. Because I usually don't. And then get sick. ^^;

Those darn snow drifts always pile up because our house is at the end of the street. So everytime the snowploughing car comes by, it just sort of shoves everything near our house! They were STARTING to melt, but then there was lots of freezing rain, and then more snow, so now they're ice drifts. With snow on the inside. Somewhere.

Well, can't have everything I suppose. And...wow, even on the ski runs I don't often see snow that high. I myself live in Southern California and the only time I see snow at all is when I go up to Tahoe after New Year's to ski. Good place for it, if you enjoy skiing or snowboarding.
